From Healing Others to Healing Myself

The beginning of my wellness journey

I was always the strong one—the nurse, the wife, the mom. But while caring for everyone else, I lost myself. On the outside, I looked fine. Inside, I was exhausted—physically, mentally, emotionally. One quiet moment changed everything: I realized I couldn’t keep living like that.

The Moment I Chose Me

At first, I didn’t see it—or maybe I just didn’t want to. The exhaustion, the weight gain, the struggle to get out of bed—I kept brushing it off as being tired, busy, or stressed. But the truth was, I had completely stopped showing up for myself.

The wake-up call came hard: pre-diabetes, high blood pressure, sleep apnea, and signs of fatty liver. As a nurse, I knew exactly what those results meant. But as a Human being, I was scared. I felt disappointed, embarrassed, and soul-deep exhausted. I was surviving… not living.

Worse, I was battling food addiction—something I didn’t want to admit. I used food to cope, to escape, to feel in control, until it started controlling me. That addiction was slowly destroying the health I was trained to protect in others.

Then everything changed. I made the hardest, but most powerful decision of my life: I chose me. I stopped making excuses and started taking responsibility—not for a number on the scale, but for my health, my energy, my future, and my family. I chose to show up for the woman buried under the chaos.

That choice was the beginning. Slowly, step by step, I came back to life. And from that moment, Nurse Aylyn was born—not just a brand, but a mission to guide, heal, and remind others: it’s never too late to choose you.

It was never about a number or appearance. It was about finally seeing myself… and choosing to heal. I chose my health, my peace, my joy. I chose Aylyn.
I choose ME. And that choice changed everything.

From the moment we started cycling together, I’ve noticed a complete transformation—not just physically, but in your energy and mindset. You’ve become more confident, more driven, and more focused. The consistency in your training shows in how much stronger, faster, and more resilient you’ve become. It’s like watching someone fully step into their potential, and it’s honestly been inspiring.

Aylyn has made significant changes since she first started training at Rzone. Both physically and mentally. But I think the biggest and most important was the mental change. Not workout regimen really worked for her in the past but once she found something that was enjoyable her mindset switched which eventually led her to physical changes. Her discipline is so impressive, not only inspires me but other members around her. Her journey has been tough but she stuck it out and is now able to help others in so many ways. Working out has not only helped her physically but it has also provided her a safe space where she now feels comfortable and met amazing people along the way 🫶

Physically, you’re clearly stronger and fitter than when you started—but it’s your mental growth that’s really stood out. You’ve developed a mindset that doesn’t quit. You’re more confident, more resilient, and more focused. You’ve built habits that not only support your fitness, but also your overall well-being. You’ve shown that real transformation is about much more than the scale—it’s about becoming the strongest version of yourself, inside and out.

One thing you changed that made me proud was that you realized your unhealthy habits and changed them for the better. I think something that has really changed about you was your mindset on how to better yourself. Seeing you workout makes me feel good knowing you are good and healthy. I also think its really good that you are Nurse Aylyn because you can help others who are sharing the same problem you were by sharing what you have learned..Whenever we do something healthy i dont always enjoy it but i know its for the better of us all.
